I rode yesterday! :yahoo: Bloody feel it today though, my hips are very unhappy with me
We just had a few mins in the school to see how he felt and then a nice hack down the lane and round a quiet road with our good friends Claire & Tally. He feels pretty much like he did four weeks ago which is good, I suppose. He didn’t seem to be in any discomfort – no mouthing or chewing the bit (well, any more than normal. He does chew his bit a little). He’s pretty stiff but that’s to be expected but he wasn’t leaning oddly like he was the day before I noticed he had a problem again so HOORAY.
Slightly bad news: vet called me on Friday having got the results of the tests they ran on the tissue they removed in the surgery. It shows signs of the ossifying sarcoma they found previously (that’s the benign tumour we were worried about last year). That’s what he expected but it does mean we should probably put him back in the CT scanner in 3-4 months time to make sure there isn’t any new growth of anything where it shoudn’t be. They did leave some tiny tiny slivers of tooth still in the hole as they could see them on the CT scan but couldn’t find them when they looked in the jaw so it’s possible those could ossify (get bone growth round them in esscence) if left.
