My friend who bought a new horsebox a couple of weeks ago wanted to go out in it yesterday so we had a lovely trip to the gallops! Took a while to get Dino loaded; he just wasn’t convinced there was room in it for him really as it’s side loading but we got there in the end. Need to get her to park it up and do some practice in it really. He squished my hand at one point which is quite sore this morning, and managed to stand on my foot when he finally did understand what he was supposed to be doing so clearly we have some work to do between us!!! :doh:

Weather was weird – was amazingly sunny so I didn’t take a coat or anything and it randomly rained for half an hour so I got soaked. Did mean there was amazing rainbow action though!

As I suspected neither Dino nor Brambles will actually gallop without something to chase, but did have some lovely canters:

He had another scary hack on the roads on Saturday, this time with M, so next goal is to get him back to behaving sensibly round traffic with a solid Tally pony escort I think.
